 Our client, in the insurance industry, is seeking a "  Junior Broker"

Are you newly licensed and looking to kickstart your career in the insurance industry?

We have a great opportunity for a Junior Broker (Admin) to join our team! This support role is essential in helping our experienced brokers, providing a foundation for growth and advancement within the company. We believe in nurturing talent and providing opportunities to develop within the field.


The position is for someone who is eager to learn and grow. The role is primarily focused on administrative support but also involves interacting with customers and brokers to help facilitate transactions and processes. You will be part of a dynamic team, reporting to the Branch Operations Manager, and working alongside an experienced Level 2 Broker.



Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service at every interaction, ensuring a positive experience for clients and team members.
  • Support the sales and service functions, including uploading policies on insurance company portals and providing quotations to customers and brokers.
  • Process renewals and endorsements through company portals.
  • Set up pre-authorized payments and send payment reminders when necessary.
  • Document claims information and update files accordingly.
  • Perform general office administration tasks such as eDocs download, reconciliations, and mailings.
  • Assist with other tasks as needed and take on additional responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Level 1 Insurance License (mandatory)

6+ months of experience preferred but not required

Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset

Ability to handle administrative tasks with accuracy and efficiencySelf-motivated and a quick learner

Must be able to work in the office for 3 days per week, with potential for more days in the future

The indicated pay range for this position is a good-faith estimate based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Additionally, it is emphasized that the pay band mentioned herein is the one established by the client company. Most candidates will start at the bottom half of the pay range, with the upper end reserved for candidates with extensive experience and skills and who live in geographic markets commanding a higher starting pay.
