We are seeking a Senior QA Analyst with deep expertise in Guidewire applications (ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter) and enterprise system integration testing. This role is critical in validating the functionality, performance, and reliability of complex systems across IAA (Impact Auto Auctions) applications, ICBC, SAP, and data warehouse environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various testing methodologies and tools and a strong understanding of insurance and financial workflows.
System Testing & Validation:
Test Guidewire ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter functionalities and APIs, ensuring seamless integration with IAA applications.
Validate batch processing and data integrations between IAA systems, ICBC finance, SAP, and enterprise data warehouse environments.
Testing Execution:
Plan, develop, and execute a full range of testing types including:
Acceptance Testing
Black Box Testing
End-to-End Testing
Functional & Interactive Testing
Integration Testing
Performance Testing
Regression Testing
Unit & Non-Functional Testing
Test Planning & Coordination:
Define testing objectives and develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases based on business requirements.
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including:
Integrated Testing Teams (ITT)
Business Stakeholders
ICBC Delivery Teams
Third-party Development Teams
Manual & Exploratory Testing:
Author and execute manual test cases derived from acceptance criteria.
Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and UI/UX anomalies.
Run transactional data through systems and validate records during regression cycles.
5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing with a focus on enterprise applications.
Expert-level knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter (v9) and PolicyCenter.
Experience with JIRA, HP Service Manager (HPSM) for defect tracking and test management.
Proficient in web services testing with strong knowledge of REST APIs, including both synchronous and asynchronous messaging.
Advanced understanding of:
API integration testing techniques and design patterns
Functional and non-functional testing best practices
System Integration Testing, End-to-End Testing, and Business Acceptance Testing
Experience in insurance, automotive claims, or financial services domains.
Familiarity with automated testing tools or scripting for regression testing.
Exposure to Agile and DevOps environments and CI/CD pipelines.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
