Our leading global insurance client is looking for a Project Manager Office Analyst.
Responsibilities
- The PMO Analyst will report PMO Team Lead, with the primary focus on ensuring governance, reporting standards, risk management and financial controls across the assigned work programme.
- Provide accurate consistent reporting across the programme
- Manage project estimates and the tracking of actuals and estimates to complete against them, milestone tracking and change control
- Risk, Issue & Dependency management
- Provides analytical support and completes ad hoc requests as required.
- Collates status reports and high-quality reporting materials to support governance meetings and ensure they reflect the reality of the delivery
- Responsible for logistics for meetings, preparation, agenda, papers, and minutes.
- Manage communication with Stakeholders to ensure that progress is clear, and where priorities on Features to be delivered are required, the impact is accurately represented
- Ensures PMO standards are adhered to
Qualification
- Experienced and knowledgeable of the PMO function
- Experience of providing PMO support in a client-facing role would be desirable
- Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
- Good prioritisation skills
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Ability to build strong working relationships, with IT and business managers
- Ability to influence, network and collaborate with stakeholders
- Excellent and effective communication
- Experienced of providing PMO support within a software delivery environment
- Financial Services experience essential
- Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle, agile methodologies and how to apply these
- Uses Microsoft Projects / Excel and PowerPoint to a high standard
