Our client, a branded beverage company in North America, is looking to hire an Inventory Control Clerk.
Job description :
- Parts/Inventory Clerk participates as team members in a high volume, light manufacturing environment. Duties include packaging equipment, loading raw materials, equipment washing, quality control inspections and data recording. Technicians must maintain workstation in an organized and clean manner to ensure safety and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Interact with production team members, quality control and maintenance technicians to maximize output and efficiency Able to demonstrate his/her commitment to
- Maintains inventory records. Cleans and maintains the stock area.
- Operates forklift to remove and stock materials. Have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and vendors. Must be able to work closely with vendors for require stock items and spare parts. Initiates purchase order request.
- Have basic understanding of computers (excel, word). Have Good physical stamina. Have a baseline understanding of mathematics (multiplication, division).Monitors warranty information and tracks warranties on parts purchased. Review daily purchase orders, invoices and the charging of parts on repair, ensure accuracy and corrects discrepancies. Considerable ability to follow oral and written instructions. Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent preferred.
- Professional/technical knowledge.
- Ability to learn
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. as needed.
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop and lift and stand for a prolonged period.
- Two (2) years of previous work history.
