Our Fortune 500 client is seeking an Inside Sales Consultant. In this role, you will drive growth and protect revenue by deeply engaging with customers, understanding their business needs, and demonstrating how core capabilities align with their goals. You will recommend the optimal solution stack to help customers move their businesses forward. Collaboration with internal support partners and resources is essential as you contribute to the mission of disrupting the small‑business mid‑market segment.

Responsibilities

  • Exemplify company values and foster an inclusive, collaborative, and innovative environment
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance customers’ businesses and provide strategic recommendations
  • Articulate value propositions within the QuickBooks Online ecosystem and highlight competitive advantages
  • Deliver recommendations with a strong focus on ROI and effective tool utilization
  • Manage a sales funnel and maintain a sustainable sales cycle to achieve quarterly targets
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to influence buying decisions and navigate complex sales processes
  • Utilize resources efficiently to manage account territory and close deals at scale
  • Measure success through key metrics such as quota attainment, close rates, and pipeline velocity

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of fintech or payments experience (required)
  • Minimum 2+ years of quota‑carrying software or technology sales experience in the merchant services industry (required)
  • Prior sales experience with accounting, ERP, or financial management software (preferred)
  • Experience selling merchant services across various industries with strong strategic positioning
  • Familiarity with merchant services industry standards, including rates, cost analysis, and risk management
  • Deep understanding of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes related to money movement
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a large pipeline of prospects through Salesforce and support multiple partners
  • Proficiency with sales methodologies such as Challenger, SPIN, Solution Selling, or Sandler
  • Strong understanding of the client management lifecycle and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Proven track record of influencing and collaborating within a sales team environment
