Role: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Pay Rate: $45–$48/hour
Duration: 6-month contract to start, with strong potential for extension
Our client, a well-established, nationwide technology and services organization is looking for Sales Recruiter. The Sales Recruiter is responsible for strategically and proactively sourcing both passive and active candidates to build and maintain a quality talent pipeline for current and future workforce needs. This role requires an understanding of external labor market conditions and the ability to leverage effective, economical, and appropriate sources, channels, and methods. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will build and maintain relationships with potential candidates, recruitment agencies, schools, and associations. They will review resumes, contact candidates to ascertain fit and interest, and refer suitable candidates.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be joining a team of 3, supporting recruiting efforts across a variety of needs.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and assisting with sourcing and evaluating talent for potential opportunities within an organization.
- Reviewing resumes, conducting initial screenings, and assisting with assessing and ranking prospective talent.
- Utilizing multiple talent platforms to source candidates.
- Coordinating TA and Manager interviewing calls using MS Outlook.
- Providing support in planning and strategizing future workforce needs.
- Cultivating relationships with external, often passive, talent.
- Becoming an expert user on the Applicant Tracking System.
- Managing Talent Acquisition Partners.
- Building and maintaining relationships with potential candidates, recruitment agencies, schools, and associations.
- Partnering with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and networks to improve employee referrals, sourcing, and diverse representation in hiring practices.
Qualification:
- 3 - 6 years of Talent Acquisition and/or Human Resources experience in Saas sales/sales/IT sales/ Tech sales, including professional work experience, training, military experience, or college projects.
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to deliver a positive and engaging candidate experience for internal and external candidates throughout the onboarding process.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated experience with the successful execution of direct sourcing methodologies and tools (internet sourcing, networking, cold calling, research, etc.).
- Ability to prequalify and present initial opportunity and value proposition to identified candidates.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and/or candidate relationship management (CRM) systems, iCIMS preferred.
- Maintaining in-depth and up-to-date business intelligence of relevant competitors, market conditions, hiring trends, and other relevant market data.
- Experience with IT and sales recruiting is preferred.
- Experience working with field sales teams is preferred.
