Role: Compensation Manager
Duration: 6 months (high possibility of extension/conversion)
Pay Range: $55 - $65 per hour

Our client, a well-established, nationwide technology and services organization, is looking for a Compensation Manager. A Compensation Manager architectures job roles and designs pay structures, conducts salary benchmarking, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards. The Compensation Manager is responsible for managing job architecture and developing pay ranges that align with the organization's strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Guide the job architecture design project to streamline titles, levels, and career paths
- Enhancing data quality, governance, and reporting through HRIS and analytical tools
- Leads job leveling strategy through analysis of internal job descriptions and hierarchy, external benchmarks, and company objectives.
- Analyze market data to inform job architecture decisions
- Benchmark job roles against industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business goals
- Monitor industry trends to ensure equitable pay structures
- Prepare reports on compensation and market data findings
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of compensation principles, including job evaluation, market pricing, pay structures, and incentive plans.
- 4-6 years: Experience in market data analysis and total rewards management
- 7-9 years: Experience with collaboration in cross-functional teams
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills, with he ability to advise and influence senior leaders
- Experience designing compensation and job structures in Dayforce (Ceridian), preferred.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS): Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
Licenses and Certifications
- CCP - Certified Compensation Professional, preferred
