Our client, a multinational technology company specializing in Information Technology Services and Consulting, is looking to hire a Solution Architect.


Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures on AWS to meet business needs.
  • Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models. 
  • Install, configure, and manage relational database management systems (RDBMS). 
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency through appropriate data modeling techniques.
  • Implement and maintain database security measures.
  • Develop and implement data administration policies.
  • Monitor database performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues.
  • Integrate data from various sources into a unified database environment. 
  • Work closely with project stakeholders to understand their data requirements, provide technical guidance and support.
  • Working cooperatively in a cross functional team environment
  • Experience in agile methodologies and ceremonies.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and database technologies.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
  • Proficiency in SQL and other database languages.
  • Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
  • Experience in database security principles and practices.
  • Experience in tools relevant for database architecting and administration
  • Good to have: 1. Experience in architecting database solutions in Cloud environments 2. NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

Most candidates will start at the bottom half of the pay range, with the upper end reserved for candidates with extensive experience and skills and who live in geographic markets commanding a higher starting pay.
