Our client is seeking a Recruitment Specialist based in the Toronto office to lead full-cycle recruitment activities—partnering with hiring managers across departments, engaging talent, and helping ensure a seamless onboarding experience. Responsibilities:


  • Full-Cycle Recruitment
    • Source and attract candidates using job boards, networks, and social media
    • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates for technical and cultural fit
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to create and update job descriptions

  • Recruitment Operations & Analytics
    • Maintain and enhance the applicant tracking system (ATS)
    • Generate recruitment reports and support continuous improvement efforts
    • Ensure data accuracy throughout the recruitment lifecycle

  • Employer Branding & Outreach
    • Promote the client’s brand as an employer of choice through a strong candidate experience
    • Represent Alamos at career fairs, campus recruitment events, and networking opportunities

  • Onboarding & Candidate Experience
    • Coordinate onboarding logistics to ensure smooth transitions for new hires
    • Act as a key point of contact throughout the hiring and onboarding process

  • HR Collaboration & Support
    • Stay informed on recruitment trends and market dynamics
    • Support broader HR initiatives and special projects as needed

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment (required)
  • Experience in mining, industrial, or technical environments
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive information confidentially
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Most candidates will start at the bottom half of the pay range, with the upper end reserved for candidates with extensive experience and skills and who live in geographic markets commanding a higher starting pay.
