Our client, North America’s most agile solution provider of customizable bakery and snack products, is seeking a “Project Manager”.

The position is responsible for planning and managing all aspects of a project including, but not limited to, scope, execution, and budget, quality, and timing. This role requires strong project management skills, a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.  

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute projects from initiation to completion using End to End Commercialization process.
• Lead customer trials and plan start up productions for commercialization projects ensuring “Right First Time” execution.
• Coordinate and facilitate meetings, including kick-off meetings, project meetings, risk assessments, lessons learned, post-launch reviews, and other necessary meetings.
• Manage risks and timelines throughout project lifecycle while monitoring project progress and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Engineering, Quality, Operations, Production and Supply Chain to ensure project objectives are met.
• Execute PMO guidelines, methodologies and framework during project execution.
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of Project Management or related experience in a food or beverage manufacturing industry
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is preferred and an asset.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience seeing projects through full life cycle.
• A highly-motivated, self-starter capable of leading multiple projects.
• Ability to interact well with clients and colleagues.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to solve problems in a creative and effective manner.
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Strong customer service orientation.
