Our client, a Fortune 500 organization, is seeking a Communications Manager. This is a key leadership opportunity for a high‑performing, collaborative communications professional who will act as a strategic partner to the Canadian business. The successful candidate will shape the brand narrative and enhance reputation through integrated public relations, social media, and influencer strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the integrated communications vision and strategy, including public relations, social media, and influencer marketing, in collaboration with senior stakeholders and agency partners
  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal leaders, building strong relationships to ensure alignment and drive business outcomes
  • Develop integrated, end‑to‑end marketing and communications strategies with cross‑functional teams
  • Define KPIs and oversee the creation of comprehensive campaign performance reports, translating insights into actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams across borders to ensure alignment
  • Lead public relations strategy, managing PR agencies and building key media relationships to secure impactful coverage
  • Oversee development and execution of a data‑driven social media strategy to increase brand visibility, engagement, and business growth
  • Manage the influencer marketing program from strategy and identification to execution and performance analysis
  • Monitor social media trends, conversations, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and inform content and PR strategies
  • Manage budgets for social media, influencer, and PR programs, ensuring optimal resource allocation

Qualifications & Skills

  • 8–10+ years of progressive experience in a fast‑paced corporate or agency environment (consumer tech or financial sectors preferred)
  • Proven track record developing and executing innovative, integrated communications strategies that increase brand awareness and customer consideration
  • Extensive experience managing influencer programs from strategy through analysis
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading social media strategy with deep knowledge of major platforms and their audiences
  • Exceptional ability to influence and collaborate with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform strategy and measure ROI
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling narratives and present to executive audiences
  • Hybrid role based in Toronto, requiring three days per week onsite
