Job Overview
Our top consultancy client is seeking a seasoned Technology Lead to define and oversee the technical architecture and execution for their SAP S4HANA migration program. This role will ensure robust, secure, and scalable solutions across SAP landscapes, integrations, and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
• Define technical architecture for S4HANA deployment (on-premise, private cloud, or RISE) and overall system landscape.
• Oversee SAP BASIS operations, including environment setup, transport management, performance tuning, and system sizing.
• Guide extensibility models (in-app and side-by-side via SAP BTP) and manage custom code remediation strategies.
• Own security and authorization frameworks, ensuring SOX compliance and adherence to BFSI regulatory standards.
• Direct data migration approach using tools such as DMO and SLT, including archiving and data quality safeguards.
• Review and validate integrations with SAP PI/PO/CPI, APIs, and event-driven architectures for non-SAP systems.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation for transports, testing, and system monitoring.
• Provide technical risk assessments and sign-off for cutover and go-live readiness.
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• BE/BTech; SAP certs preferred.
• 8 years of SAP technical leadership experience, including S4HANA architecture and migration projects.
• Strong expertise in SAP BASIS administration, performance optimization, and system sizing.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP, extensibility models, and custom code remediation.
• Deep understanding of security, SOX controls, and compliance requirements in BFSI environments.
• Proficiency in data migration tools (DMO, SLT) and integration technologies (PI/PO, CPI).
• Experience implementing CI/CD, DevOps, and automation frameworks for SAP landscapes.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence technical decisions.
