Our fortune 500 client is seeking a Marketing Specialist (Paid Search).  As a Marketing Specialist - Paid Search, you will be responsible for the hands-on management of our paid search campaigns across Google and Bing. 


Responsibilities:


  • Campaign Execution & Management: Execute and manage the daily operations of paid search campaigns across Google and Bing Ads, ensuring accurate implementation of targeting, bidding, budgets and ad creatives.
  • Platform Optimization: Execute optimization tasks within Google Ads and Bing Ads, including SQR, bid adjustments, negative keyword additions, audience refinements and more.
  • Budget Management & Tracking: Assist in the management of weekly and quarterly budgets, ensuring adherence to allocated spend and proactively flagging any potential over or under-spending. 
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Regularly monitor campaign performance, generate recurring reports, and provide clear summaries of key metrics and trends using Google Sheets.
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze campaign performance data to identify areas for improvement in execution and efficiency, providing data-backed observations to the Paid Search Lead.
  • Cross-functional Support: Collaborate effectively with internal teams (e.g., analytics) to ensure accurate data tracking and reporting. 


Qualifications:


  • Hands-on SEM Execution: Proven experience in the daily execution and management of SEM campaigns on Google Ads and Bing Ads.
  • Platform Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Google Ads and Bing Ads platforms. Familiarity with Google Ads Editor and understanding of campaign types like DSA, Demand Gen and PMax is essential.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Experience in generating regular performance reports and a comfortable understanding of key paid search and business metrics.
  • Budget Management Fundamentals: Understanding of budget monitoring and adherence within paid search campaigns.
  • Google Sheets Proficiency: Demonstrated strong proficiency in using Google Sheets for data management, analysis, and reporting (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation).
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in campaign implementation and reporting.
  • Proactive & Organized: Ability to manage tasks efficiently, meet deadlines, and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Learning Agility: Ability to quickly learn and apply new platform features and execution processes. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Paid Search execution and reporting.
  • Solid understanding of campaign management fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Adobe & Google Analytics) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in French and/or Spanish is considered a valuable asset.

The indicated pay range for this position is a good-faith estimate based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Additionally, it is emphasized that the pay band mentioned herein is the one established by the client company. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work. Most candidates will start at the bottom half of the pay range, with the upper end reserved for candidates with extensive experience and skills and who live in geographic markets commanding a higher starting pay.
