Description and Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented QA Test Lead to join our team and support the testing of complex web applications built on full stack technologies. In this role, you will lead quality assurance efforts across both onshore and offshore teams, ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of test execution, documentation, and reporting. The ideal candidate thrives in agile environments, has strong hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, and excels at cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead QA activities in an Agile development environment, including participation in planning, estimation, and daily stand-ups.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including Test Estimations, Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Traceability Matrices, Test Reports, Testing Sign-Off, and Test Closure Summary Reports.

  • Drive continuous improvement of QA processes and standards, tailoring testing strategies to meet unique client requirements on complex projects.

  • Oversee test execution, ensuring adherence to schedules and delivery timelines.

  • Manage and coordinate tasks between onshore and offshore teams, assigning responsibilities and ensuring completion through regular updates and meetings.

  • Represent QA in client interactions, including offshore hand-off calls, status reporting, and owning end-to-end delivery accountability.

  • Juggle multiple testing efforts concurrently, navigating changing priorities and deadlines with flexibility and focus.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and project managers.

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong experience testing web applications built with React, REST APIs, Spring Boot, Java, deployed on Kubernetes (OpenShift or equivalent) in both on-premise and AWS cloud environments.

  • Proficient in database testing using MS SQL and Oracle.

  • Skilled in QA tools including HP Service Manager, JIRA, Zephyr.

  • Hands-on experience with service testing using SoapUI and/or JMeter.

  • (Nice to have): Experience testing Guidewire PolicyCenter applications.

  • (Nice to have): Exposure to test automation tools like Selenium or similar.
