Position Summary
Our client in Medical manufacturing is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer who will support New Product development projects by:
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and executing the purchase, assembly, installation, and testing of custom or off the shelf manufacturing equipment and fixtures
- Developing custom inspection fixtures/equipment including mechanical setup, LabView software development, and machine learning
- Authoring manufacturing work instructions, inspection procedures, attribute charts, PPAP documents
- Creating prints for components used for product repair
- Coordinating and troubleshooting incoming inspection / FAI of product components
- Setting up manufacturing lines for product repair and inspection
- This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Job requires an understanding and application of engineering knowledge.
Qualification:
- This role typically requires a university degree or extensive practical knowledge gained through at least 2 years of experience. The duration of this contract is a minimum of 12 months with a possibility of extension.
- Experience with building and testing fixtures and equipment
- Experience authoring manufacturing documents
- Candidate should be able to efficiently manage supporting multiple projects and able to independently problem solve
- LabVIEW or TestStand experience
- Medical device experience
- Experience supporting manufacturing lines
The indicated pay range is a good‑faith estimate based on required qualifications, experience, training, and other factors permitted by law. It reflects the pay band established by the client company. Actual offers may vary depending on skills, experience, geographic location, and expected work quality.
