Job Title: Technical (AI Solutions) Architect – Generative AI & Intelligent Automation
Location: Remote (USA)
Duration: 6-month (Contract)
Work Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week) - Eastern Time Zone

Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced AI Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-scale Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, and Intelligent Automation solutions. This is a highly specialized individual contributor role focused on building innovative AI-powered capabilities that drive business transformation, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.

The successful candidate will serve as a technical leader and subject matter expert, helping define enterprise AI architecture, solution design, and implementation strategies. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and deliver AI use cases while establishing best practices, governance frameworks, and scalable AI development standards.

Key Responsibilities

AI Solution Architecture & Development
  • Design, develop, and implement enterprise-scale AI solutions leveraging Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
  • Build scalable AI applications, intelligent agents, automation workflows, and advanced analytics solutions.
  • Define solution architecture, technical specifications, implementation roadmaps, and deployment strategies.
  • Lead the development of AI-powered business capabilities that improve productivity, decision-making, and user experience.
Technical Leadership
  • Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
  • Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools to recommend innovative solutions that support business objectives.
  • Establish architecture standards, development best practices, governance models, and quality assurance processes.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical mentorship to engineering teams and stakeholders.
AI & Machine Learning Engineering
  • Develop and optimize:
    • Large Language Model (LLM) applications
    • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions
    • Intelligent AI agents
    • Machine Learning workflows
  • Semantic search and vector database implementations
  • Support model evaluation, monitoring, performance tuning, and lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with business teams to identify automation opportunities and prioritize AI initiatives.
Enterprise Solution Delivery
  • Lead solution design, coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ensure solutions meet requirements for scalability, security, governance, maintainability, and performance.
  • Partner with business users to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Drive adoption of AI technologies across the enterprise.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with:
  • Generative AI
  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Strong experience designing and deploying enterprise AI solutions.
  • Experience developing scalable software applications and cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, system architecture, and enterprise application development.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
