Description and Requirements

The QuickBooks Live Bookkeeping Expert Assisted role is a customer-facing position responsible for providing professional guidance to Small Business Owners managing their businesses through QuickBooks Online. This role requires a deep understanding of QuickBooks Online, along with strong bookkeeping, customer service, and technical skills. The ideal candidate will exhibit critical thinking, problem-solving, and flexibility while working in a fast-paced, virtual environment with minimal supervision.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of bookkeeping and/or accounting experience
  • Minimum 1 year of QuickBooks Online experience
  • QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Certification required
  • CPB (Certified Professional Bookkeeper) preferred, but not required
  • Intuit Academy Bookkeeping Certificate recommended
  • Customer service experience, including interacting through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and reassuring manner
  • Experience supporting Payroll, Sales Tax, or Tax Preparation preferred, but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with technology, with a strong knowledge of computer software and the ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Dedicated high-speed internet connection (DSL, cable, or fiber)

Responsibilities
  • Provide bookkeeping guidance to QuickBooks Online small business owners via video and audio tools, maintaining a professional, friendly, and reassuring tone
  • Create high-quality customer interactions that instill confidence, using deep customer empathy and expertise in QuickBooks Online
  • Guide small business owners on bookkeeping best practices and how to make optimal use of QuickBooks Online
  • Review information input by small business owners for accuracy, assist with troubleshooting, and provide insights on their financial data
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving to address bookkeeping issues and customer inquiries
  • Willingness to learn and support new products and services

Scheduling (assuming current Select-time guidelines)
  • 20-40 hours/week
  • Flexible schedule, with encouragement for PM hours
