Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in electronic hardware testing (flexible based on experience level)
  • Strong understanding of analog/digital circuits, power systems, and embedded hardware
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, signal generators, DMMs)
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and technical datasheets
  • Experience with IEC 60601-1 medical device safety standard, including awareness of US vs EU differences
  • Practical experience with product safety testing and compliance validation
  • Familiarity with safety test equipment (HIPOT testers, AC withstand voltage testers, electrical safety analyzers, calipers, etc.)
  • Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills
  • Excellent technical documentation and communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with test automation (Python, shell scripting, or similar tools)
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and communication protocols (I²C, SPI, UART, USB, Ethernet)
