Position Summary

Under general supervision, the Fabricator I is responsible for producing high‑quality fabricated parts using various fabrication equipment.

Preferred Education

  • High school diploma or GED

Qualifications & Experience

  • Ability to meet work schedules and overtime requirements, including weekends
  • Ability to read and understand procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively in English
  • Strong adherence to safety practices, including good housekeeping and ergonomic standards
  • Ability to follow workplace organization and training procedures, including cross‑training and teamwork
  • Stamina to perform repetitive tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Commitment to safety and quality, with a willingness to speak up when issues arise
  • Ability to learn new processes, systems, and equipment
  • Skills in documentation, teamwork, and basic preventative maintenance
  • Ability to work well with others in a diverse environment, participate in continuous improvement, and resolve conflicts
  • Motivation to grow, learn, and progress to the next skill level

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in manufacturing
  • Ability to operate basic fabrication equipment
  • Quality training, including incoming part quality, gauge plan completion, and proper part loading

Physical & Mental Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry 10–50 lbs frequently; occasionally 50–75 lbs
  • Ability to perform prolonged stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, or crawling as required
  • Ability to reach, push, or pull to complete job tasks
  • Strong hand‑grasp ability
  • Coordination of hands, eyes, and/or feet
  • Ability to meet cognitive demands including visual and auditory discrimination, memory, reading ability, independent decision‑making, and retention of job‑specific knowledge
  • Possible exposure to loud noises
  • Operation of machinery as required
  • Use of safety glasses, steel‑toe shoes, and hearing protection in designated areas
  • Use of respirators and other protective equipment in paint booth areas
