Job Overview

Under general supervision, the Assembly Operator I assembles components—including sub‑assemblies, manual parts, and electrical components—to support the completion of various products. The role follows safety, quality, and production standards, using directions and blueprints to meet product specifications.

Essential Duties & Preferred Education

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Ability to meet scheduled work hours and overtime requirements, including weekends
  • Ability to read and understand procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively in English
  • Commitment to safety practices, including good housekeeping and ergonomic awareness
  • Ability to follow workplace organization and training procedures, including cross‑training and teamwork
  • Stamina for repetitive tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to speak up regarding safety or quality concerns
  • Ability to learn new processes, systems, and equipment
  • Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work in a diverse environment, collaborate across functions, and support conflict resolution

Physical & Cognitive Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry 10–50 lbs frequently; may rarely lift 50–75 lbs
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, sit, stand, and/or crawl for extended periods
  • Ability to reach, push, or pull as needed to complete job tasks
  • Hand‑grasp ability required
  • Coordination of hands, eyes, and/or feet required
