Job Description

• Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and electrical/electronic systems to create subassemblies, assemblies, or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and related equipment
• Fits, aligns, calibrates, and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet required tolerances and product operating standards, including repairing units that do not meet specifications

This position requires knowledge gained through experience, specialized education, or training. The role follows clearly defined procedures and tasks, supported by established guidelines to aid in decision‑making. Technical knowledge is basic and limited to tasks within the assigned discipline. Work is generally routine and manual, requiring adherence to detailed instructions and simple judgment in straightforward situations. Typically involves selecting from established solutions.
