Title: HR Technology Project Manager
The HR Technology Project Manager is responsible for the overall strategy, planning, management, and completion of projects supporting the global Human Resources function. This role partners with project team members and vendors to define project scope, identify resource requirements, establish deliverables, and execute project plans. The Project Manager ensures effective communication and strong working relationships between stakeholders and project teams.
The ideal candidate has a strong track record in project management, technology delivery, and operations, with the ability to lead process‑improvement and IT initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and employee experience.
Core Competencies / Experience
- Plan, execute, and monitor HR technology projects with a focus on supportability and smooth operational transition
- Manage project planning activities including business requirements, process and functional design, prototyping, testing, training, and support procedures
- Oversee project tracking and reporting to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives
- Collaborate with leaders, project teams, and stakeholders to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure successful outcomes
- Facilitate cross‑functional meetings and implementation plans with project managers, functional experts, and business partners
- Prepare project communications, documentation, and project plans
- Review and maintain project financials, evaluate performance against financial targets, and manage change controls
- Build and deliver project plans, status reports, and testing metrics; track defects and identify dependencies and constraints
- Identify organizational improvement opportunities and advocate for change
- Work in an agile environment with global implementation and operations teams
- Lead coordination of training and knowledge‑sharing events for team members
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience managing work on cloud HR platforms such as Workday, Oracle Cloud HCM, or SuccessFactors
- Ability to thrive in a diverse, fast‑paced global environment
- Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies
- Working knowledge of Agile practices
- Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and meet deadlines despite competing demands
- College degree in a related field with 5+ years of professional experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a project manager
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Excellent analytical, presentation, organizational, and facilitation skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex requirements to stakeholders, COE teams, and vendors
