Wilson has partnered with a national book manufacturer seeking a permanent Electrical Engineer for a 1st shift position in Owensville, Missouri. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on maintaining and improving electrical systems within the facility and the manufacturing equipment.

• Manage and maintain power distribution and lighting systems in the facilities.
• Design, modify, and troubleshoot machine control systems based on Allen Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms.
• Prepare electrical engineering estimates for equipment installations, relocations, etc.
• Collaborate closely with electronic techs and electricians supporting the manufacturing operations.
• Ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications and technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and specifications by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
• Write reports and compile data regarding existing and new electrical engineering projects. Estimate material, labor, and/or construction costs for budget preparation.
• Prepare specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.

Requirements:

• Electrical Engineering degree or related field; bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Good knowledge of applicable codes related to electronic engineering.
• Proficient in design and calculation software.
