You will publish pages, documents, and graphics using SharePoint Online while applying best practices in information architecture, UX design, accessibility (WCAG), and content governance. This role requires deep, hands‑on SharePoint expertise—someone who understands not only how to publish, but how SharePoint works, how it scales in a large enterprise environment, and how to support others in using it effectively.

• Manage content libraries, lists, permissions, metadata, and overall site structure
• Support site owners with publishing requests, content updates, and troubleshooting
• Work in both SharePoint Classic and SharePoint Modern environments
• Support migrations from SharePoint Classic to Modern, including content mapping, page redesign, IA improvements, and transition planning
• Maintain standards for governance, page templates, navigation, and overall content quality

Information Architecture & UX
• Organize content to improve findability and user experience
• Apply UX principles to page layout, navigation, and flow
• Recommend improvements that enhance usability and align with intranet standards

• Review content for clarity, accuracy, structure, and consistency
• Ensure content meets WCAG 2.1+ accessibility requirements
• Conduct QA checks prior to publishing, including formatting, accessibility compliance, and functional testing

Collaboration & Support
• Partner with Communications, business units, and intranet stakeholders to deliver high‑impact pages and sites
• Provide expert guidance on SharePoint best practices and enterprise governance
• Support large content projects, redesign efforts, and content modernization initiatives

Who You Are: A SharePoint Expert
• Extensive experience using both SharePoint Classic and Modern in a large enterprise setting
• Highly skilled in site creation, publishing, metadata, permissions, lists/libraries, and modern web parts
• Able to troubleshoot issues, coach content owners, and improve publishing workflows
• Experience migrating content from Classic to Modern, from planning through execution

Strong Communicator
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Able to translate complex system or IA concepts into simple, user‑friendly instructions

Web & UX Enthusiast
• Comfortable applying UX principles and basic HTML/CSS

Accessibility‑Focused
• Solid understanding of WCAG guidelines and accessible content design (headings, structure, alt‑text, contrast, readability)

Detail‑Oriented & Organized
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing content, structures, and page layouts
• Able to manage multiple deadlines and requests simultaneously

Curious & Solution‑Oriented
• Enjoys improving tools, templates, and processes
• Brings forward recommendations for better workflows, navigation, and user experience

• Experience working on a corporate intranet or communications team
• Experience in financial institutions or large enterprise environments
