The Digital Paid Media team is responsible for the execution, optimization, and measurement of CIBC’s digital media activity. This includes managing relationships with both the CIBC internal marketing teams and external agencies to contribute to the holistic media strategies.
The Senior Specialist, Paid Media is responsible for the execution of paid media on multiple lines of business. Areas of focus will included launching and optimizing campaigns, KPI definition and monitoring, pacing, etc. The individual will manage reports, troubleshoot issues, and drive sales opportunities. The individual will also operate as the account owner and primary point of contact for any platform or execution based activity.
How You’ll Succeed
• Lead Campaign Setup and Launch Activities – You drive, manage and execute Paid Media Campaigns (namely Programmatic) for your assigned lines of business or CIBC. Working in partnership with all digital channels you will support business goals, objectives and KPIs.
• Media KPI Definition & Monitoring – You have a keen ability to provide insights, recommendations and digital strategic direction based on CIBC’s vision, business needs and objectives (KPIs), industry trends, competitive landscape and metrics insights. You have the ability to pull metrics reporting and provide strategic insights to improve and enhance digital strategic programs for CIBC and the Business
• Stakeholder Management – Forge strong relationships with CIBC’s various teams, by working with the business and internal partners, owning the end to end Paid Media Campaigns to deliver against targets, with a strong understanding of the client needs and experiences across all channels . You are a great communicator, with the ability to synthesize data & results, findings and recommendations, then package key messages to the appropriate audiences. You have a proven ability to partner, build confidence and influence key stakeholders in the organization and you’re a self-starter.

Must have skills:
1. Paid Media Experience: Proven expertise in managing and optimizing paid media campaigns, particularly in Programmatic. – 3 years
2. KPI Monitoring and Reporting: Strong ability to define, track, and analyze KPIs, providing actionable insights to meet business objectives. – 3 years
3. Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners. – 3 years
4. Platform Proficiency: Working knowledge or certification in at least two platforms (e.g., DV360 (Primary), Amazon DSP, Yahoo DSP, CM360). – 3 years
5. Analytical and Digital Savviness: Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and adaptability to evolving digital tools and trends. – 3 years
