Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a Front End Developer. In this role, you will design, test, and deliver website‑related projects aligned with the overall marketing strategy to attract, delight, and acquire new customers across Canada. Working closely with designers, marketers, and a global web team, you will help create and deliver world‑class web experiences for both mobile and desktop users.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Designers and Product Managers to translate visual concepts into functional online experiences using standard HTML/CSS/JS best practices (responsive, cross‑browser compatible, accessible)
  • Build micro‑apps and web pages using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React
  • QA, test, and deploy changes to production environments
  • Implement A/B tests and personalization experiences
  • Work with U.S. central web and analytics teams to ensure proper tagging for tracking tools and third‑party integrations
  • Integrate data from various back‑end systems and sources
  • Create internal tools, applications, and pipelines to automate marketing tasks
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to operations
  • Prioritize web performance and build high‑speed, optimized sites
  • Provide technical expertise and ownership of technical issues
  • Occasionally work after hours to deploy time‑sensitive website updates

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands‑on front‑end design and development experience
  • Strong knowledge of modern HTML/CSS/JS (including React, Next.js) and best practices for UX, performance, and accessibility
  • Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
  • Knowledge of CMS platforms such as WordPress, Contentful, or Adobe Experience Manager
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying websites
  • Proficiency with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma
  • Familiarity with W3C standards
  • Experience working within iterative, repeatable software development methodologies
  • Familiarity with SCRUM/Agile practices
  • Understanding of web architecture concepts (sessions, caching, cookies)
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and creative troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks within timelines and budgets
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and quickly learn diverse web technologies
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical information

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of automated testing (unit, integration, interaction, visual regression) using tools such as Vitest, Jest, Playwright, Chromatic, or Applitools
  • Experience with A/B testing tools such as Optimizely, VWO, or Adobe Target
  • Understanding of SEO from both content and technical perspectives, including meta tags and JSON‑LD schema
  • Experience with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or Amplitude
