Compensation Range: 60,000 - 70,000
Our client, in the not-for-profit sector, is seeking an HR and Payroll Coordinator to join their team in a permanent full-time capacity. You will be reporting to the HR Director and will be responsible for processing a bi-weekly payroll for 200 employees, union and non-union, in Ontario. You will also be supporting on some HR functions and projects.

Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field is a must.
- PCP or other HR/payroll-related designation is an asset.
- Proven experience in HR and payroll administration in a unionized work environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems (Experience with Dayforce, Ceridian, or any other HRIS systems), benefits administration, and employment legislation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to data accuracy and problem-solving.
- Demonstrated ability to handle employee and organizational information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to perform well under pressure and handle multiple, competing priorities.
- Passionate about supporting employee success and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS/payroll systems.

The indicated pay range for this position is a good-faith estimate based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Most candidates will start at the bottom half of the pay range, with the upper end reserved for candidates with extensive experience and skills and who live in geographic markets commanding a higher starting pay.
