Role: Senior Analyst, FP&A
Duration: 12-month contract to start, with strong potential for conversion
Our leading AI-powered technology solutions provider client is seeking a Senior Analyst, FP&A. As part of the FP&A team, the Analyst will support core financial planning processes and contribute to strategic decision-making by delivering accurate, timely, and insightful analysis.
This role will work closely with a team of finance professionals and partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Services teams.
Responsibilities
- Support the monthly financial close process, including data extraction, report preparation, and variance analysis (MTD/QTD/YTD) with clear explanations of performance drivers
- Assist in the weekly forecasting process, tracking performance against plan and highlighting key risks and opportunities
- Build and maintain financial models and reports to support budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis
- Analyze revenue, gross profit, and EBITDA trends, identifying key drivers and variances vs. budget and prior forecasts
- Develop repeatable and automated reporting processes to efficiently handle large data sets and improve accuracy
- Partner cross-functionally to validate data, understand business drivers, and support decision-making
- Support ad hoc analysis, reporting requests, and special projects as needed
- Prepare clear, concise, and executive-ready summaries for leadership
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment, managing multiple priorities
Quailification- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic modelling); experience with Power BI, Tableau, NetSuite, or Adaptive is a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, finance, consulting, or accounting (internships acceptable)
- Someone passionate about FP&A, is curious, and wants to grow.
- Tech Savvy (comfortable and passionate about using AI – they want to start using different tools)
- Experience with any FP&A tool, which will help them decide and implement one for their team/ company
- FP&A certificate (great to have – especially for a senior analyst)
