Work Location: Remote (1-2 days in office per month)
Position Type: 3 months contract (high potential for extension, and also conversion)

Compensation: $21/hr - $24/hr
Our leading insurance client is looking for multiple Data Entry Clerks (official name of position: Underwriting Assistant) to join their team.
Responsibilities
- The Data Entry is the main point of contact for client inquiries, stakeholders for reports, and updating the database.
- Provide high-level function support on technical and administrative duties as assigned.
- Assist in data migration from the legacy system to the new system.
- Communicate with the team to verify and validate all information and obtain the necessary information that will be added to the new system.
- Identify problematic issues that may affect service and/or quality and report them to the Supervisor.
- Provide service as per best practices of the company consistent with national standards and policies.
Qualifications
- University Degree or College Diploma
- Minimum 1 year in a data entry role
- Typing speed of minimum 30-35 wpm with high levels of accuracy
- Skilled in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work through multiple systems and manage large amounts of data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Works well under pressure and within deadlines in a growing and evolving organization
- Ability to structure, interpret and use data and information from various sources
- High sense of customer orientation; identify and understand customer needs
- Strong learning agility, naturally curious with the ability to connect the dots and see the bigger picture
- Able to work in a team environment using sound interpersonal skills
- Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and accuracy
