Our multinational retail client is seeking a Product Information Analyst for their team. The Analyst, Product Information is a subject matter expert on our Product Information Management System (PIM). The incumbent is responsible for oversight of the Next Gen PIM implementation from an E-commerce, product attribute perspective.


The Analyst will work heavily in Microsoft Excel to cross reference and compare different data extracts for consistency and commonalities. The role primarily involves producing mapping templates extracting mass amount of product data from various product information management systems converting to a user friendly format (optimize for end user readability and clarity) for analysis (largely in Excel)


They will need to be adept at conveying technical information to a non-technical audience through PowerPoint and other presentational methods. An effective communicator that can work with both technical and non-technical teams.


Responsibilities:


  • Subject Matter expert in PIM system – deep understanding of the implementation of the platform and its applicability to business outcomes
  • Conduct Internal Associate training as required and will support technical questions
  • Support all product attribute data mapping projects by creating and enhancing mapping templates & processes (primarily Microsoft Excel based)
  • Data Input and Analysis
  • Support Data cleansing activities
  • Provide training and support to Site merchants as required to ensure flawless execution of product data mapping and analysis (Regular meetings)
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing


Qualifications:


  •  2+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Products (ie. Lookup/If Functions, Pivot Tables, formatting data)
  • 1-3 years to perform basic SQL queries
  • Basic data analysis skills are essential for this role
  • Interpersonal skills as training others in the system will be a key requirement
  • Ability to critically think and analyze technical issues
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
  • Good time management skills
  • Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately.
