Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Shift: Day Shift — 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Candidates will be screened by suppliers; on‑site visits can be scheduled upon request.

This is an entry‑level position responsible for supporting daily production operations, performing quality checks, and ensuring products meet required standards.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare machines and equipment for daily use
  • Perform quality checks on products and materials
  • Communicate any operational issues to set‑up staff, technicians, and supervisors
  • Use inspection tools and complete quality inspection documentation independently
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections using gauges and inspection tooling
  • Identify product defects and complete required documentation and notifications
  • Ensure products meet established quality standards

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent (or relevant experience)
  • High energy, self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with mechanical systems
  • Proficiency with inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators
  • Proven ability to use inspection data
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials
  • Basic computer navigation skills
  • Ability to read and write English

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry at least 30 lbs safely and consistently
  • Ability to push/pull up to 180 lbs using a hand dolly
  • Repetitive hand work (rotated daily)
  • Frequent standing, sitting, walking, and balancing throughout an 8–10 hour shift
  • Ability to work in an uncontrolled climate (including excessive heat)
