Powder Coat I

1st Shift: $17.50/hr
2nd Shift: $19.50/hr
3rd Shift: $19.00/hr

Position Summary

Paints and performs powder‑coating operations to properly prepare components, including sub‑assemblies and related parts, contributing to the completion of various products. Follows quality and quantity standards and adheres to instructions to meet part specifications.

Preferred Education

High school diploma or GED

Qualifications & Experience

  • Ability to meet scheduled work hours and overtime requirements, including weekends
  • Ability to read and understand procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate verbally in English
  • Ability to follow safety practices, including good housekeeping and ergonomic standards
  • May be required to follow workplace organization and training procedures, including cross‑training and teamwork
  • Stamina to perform repetitive tasks
  • Strong attention to detail

Physical & Mental Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry 10–50 lbs frequently, and occasionally 50–75 lbs depending on product line
  • Ability to perform prolonged stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, or crawling as required
  • May need to reach, push, or pull to complete job tasks
  • Requires hand‑grasp ability and coordination of hands, eyes, and/or feet
  • Must meet cognitive demands including visual and auditory discrimination, memory, reading ability, independent decision‑making, and retention of job‑specific knowledge
  • May be exposed to loud noise
  • Requires operation of machinery as needed
  • Requires use of safety glasses, steel‑toe shoes, and hearing protection in designated areas
  • Requires use of respirators and other protective equipment in paint‑booth areas
