Job Overview

Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and electrical/electronic systems to create subassemblies, assemblies, or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and related equipment. Fits, aligns, calibrates, and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet required tolerances and product performance standards, including repairing units that do not meet specifications.

This role requires knowledge gained through experience, specialized education, or training. Work follows clearly defined procedures, tasks, and guidelines to support decision‑making. Technical knowledge is basic and limited to the tasks performed within the discipline. Tasks are generally routine and manual, requiring adherence to detailed instructions and simple judgment in straightforward situations. Typically involves selecting from established solutions.

No experience required; 6 months of experience preferred.
