Job Overview

• Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and electrical/electronic systems to create subassemblies, assemblies, or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and related equipment
• Fits, aligns, calibrates, and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet required tolerances and product operating standards, including repairing units that do not meet specifications
• Requires knowledge gained through experience, specialized education, or training
• Follows clearly defined procedures, tasks, and guidelines to support decision‑making
• Technical knowledge required is basic and limited to tasks within the assigned discipline
• Work is generally routine and manual in nature
• Follows detailed instructions and makes simple judgments in straightforward situations

• No experience required; 6 months of experience preferred
