On-Site Maintenance Technician I

Position Type: Permanent/Full Time/1st Shift

Our well-known client is in search of a Maintenance Technician to join their growing team. 

In this role, you will be responsible for preventative maintenance of their equipment and facilities.

Position Overview: Assist in maintaining an industrial laundry facility. The role involves supporting the repair, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, systems, and components. This includes but is not limited to, washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers. The technician will also assist in performing preventive and predictive maintenance, resolving safety concerns, performing indoor and outdoor housekeeping, monitoring inventory supplies, and maintaining maintenance records.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment and systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
• Address and resolve safety concerns.
• Conduct indoor and outdoor housekeeping duties.
• Monitor inventory supplies and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or military setting.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours during an 8-hour shift.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Knowledge of boiler systems.
• Experience with HVAC systems.
• Proficiency in welding activities, including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.
