Compensation Range:  CAD: $40,000 – $41,000   /  MXN: $316,700 – $452,400 – $588,100 (Range based on level of experience)


Our client, a leading company in the toy and entertainment industry, is seeking a Shopper Marketing Coordinator.


The position is responsible for planning, executing, and measuring shopper marketing initiatives across retail environments in Mexico. This includes ownership of in-store point-of-sale strategy, budgeting, and promotional execution to drive brand visibility and increase product sell-through. The role works cross-functionally with sales, brand management, and external partners to align trade marketing efforts with broader business objectives.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the Field Sales Manager to ideate, plan, and implement in-store activities and promotions.

  • Own the brand's in-store presence, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across the Mexican market.

  • Manage POS materials including logistics, budgeting, distribution, and store checks.

  • Plan and monitor marketing budgets to maximize ROI and reinforce brand presence.

  • Support product launches and build experiential marketing and promotional campaigns.

  • Coordinate trade shows, expos, and key retail events.

  • Gather and apply insights from sales teams and in-store feedback to optimize marketing strategy.

  • Execute innovative and insights-driven in-store marketing programs.

  • Analyze competitor activity and industry benchmarks to inform strategic decisions.

  • Partner with Supply Chain to manage inventory of marketing materials.

  • Train internal teams and retail partners on effective POS material usage.


Qualifications:


  • 4–5 years of experience in trade/shopper marketing with a proven track record of delivering in-store marketing results.

  • Experience in the toy industry is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of retail channels, including both modern trade and e-commerce.

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).

  • Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Passion for pop culture and entertainment.
