Quality Associate, Burst House

? Responsibilities
• Perform independent audits and in

spections of Burst House testing operations for Air Cooled products, including helium, and pressure based leak testing as applicable
• Verify proper execution of leak checks, burst tests, and post test inspections in accordance with approved work instructions, control plans, and engineering specifications
• Execute two layer verification of critical quality checks, including:
o Confirmation that operators performed required inspections and tests correctly
o Validation that test results, pass/fail disposition, and rework actions are accurately recorded
• Audit test area readiness and compliance, including equipment condition, calibration status, safety interlocks, fixtures, and standardized work adherence.
• Identify, document, and escalate non conformances, test escapes, and process deviations in the quality management system.
• Verify traceability and data integrity for Burst House testing, including unit identification, test parameters, results, and re test requirements.
• Capture and upload traceability photos and audit evidence for all audited units.
• Monitor and verify containment activities related to leak failures, burst test failures, and supplied components impacting test performance.
• Partner with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality Engineering to:
o Communicate audit findings
o Support root cause analysis and corrective actions
o Track effectiveness of implemented improvements
• Report daily Burst House test pass/fail results, audit findings, and nonconformance trends.
• Support and enforce ISO 9001 quality system requirements and internal audit standards.
• Perform component or feature verification as required (e.g., fittings, welds, joints, caps, labels).
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager, Production Supervisors, or Trainer.


? Experience/Qualifications Location – include minimum years of experience required
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality control, or inspection.
Preferred Qualifications
• Associate degree
• Experience in a technical field.
• Working knowledge of basic Microsoft Office Software.
• Working knowledge and experience with Oracle and SAP.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 35 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for the majority of the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.
