Compensation Range: $35/hr. to $47/hr.


Our client, a multinational technology company specializing in Information Technology Services and Consulting, is looking to hire a Unix Administrator. The client is looking for an Admin with solid Unix Scripting experience. (Shell, Python, Perl, etc.)


Responsibilities:

  • Strong knowledge in Linux/Unix operating systems, Including file systems , User management and system configuration
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting languages for Automating tasks ( eg : Python , Perl etc..)
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve system issues including performance
  • Active Directory and Unix security administration. 
  • Planning and implementation of Security Policies.
  • Knowledge in security tools like LDAP or Authentication protocols
  • Knowledge in server patch management
  • Ability to create and maintain documentation for all the implementation

Qualifications:

  • Exp range: 6-8 years
  • Unix Shell Scripting and text processing tools
  • Unix Administration
