Compensation Range: $32/hr. to $41/hr.
Our client, a multinational technology company specializing in Information Technology Services and Consulting, is looking to hire a Unix Administrator.
Responsibilities:
- Strong knowledge in Linux/Unix operating systems, including file systems, User management ,and system configuration
- Proficiency in one or more scripting languages for automating tasks ( eg, Python, Perl, etc.)
- Ability to diagnose and resolve system issues, including performance
- Active Directory and Unix security administration.
- Planning and implementation of Security Policies.
- Knowledge of security tools like LDAP or Authentication protocols
- Knowledge of server patch management
- Ability to create and maintain documentation for all the implementation
Qualifications:
- At least 6-8 years of relevant experience
- Unix Shell Scripting and text processing tools
- Unix Administration
