Compensation Range: 40$/hr. to 56$/hr.


Our client, a multinational technology company specializing in information technology services and consulting, is looking to hire a System Administrator.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain service maps aligned with ServiceNow's Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
  • Identify and document application dependencies, service relationships, and data flows.
  • Work closely with IT Asset Management and Data Mapping teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in data representation.
  • Data Mapping & Analysis:
  • Conduct end-to-end data mapping exercises, focusing on understanding ITOM and CMDB structures in ServiceNow.
  • Work on the mapping of 100+ applications, ensuring proper identification and relationships (APM, APP, CI identification).
  • Analyze raw data and convert it into a usable format for CMDB population and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Engage directly with application owners and service teams to gather data and validate service maps.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to walk through service mapping, dependencies, and CSDM alignment.
  • Serve as the point of contact between IT and business units for all CSDM-related activities.
  • Best Practices & Compliance:
  • Apply ITIL principles to maintain hierarchy dependencies and ensure accurate service representation.
  • Ensure that service mapping efforts align with ITOM standards and CSDM best practices.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure data integrity in ServiceNow CMDB.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience working with ServiceNow, specifically within ITOM and CMDB modules.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow's Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework.
  • Experience in Service Mapping, CMDB, ITOM, and IT Asset Management.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices, particularly in CMDB and service catalog management.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving:
  • Strong analytical skills for data mapping, service dependency analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to translate raw data into meaningful service relationships within ServiceNow.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Excellent communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience leading workshops and facilitating cross-functional discussions.
  • Tools & Technologies:
  • Proficient in ServiceNow modules (CMDB, ITOM, ITSM, APM).
  • Familiarity with service mapping tools and CI identification methods.
