Compensation Range: $67 - $88 per hour (subject to experience/qualifications and employment conditions)


Our leading financial client seeks a Senior Consultant, Enterprise Data & Records for a team.


Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Data & Records, this role is accountable for providing business services and consultative support on the identification, retention and disposition of records and data. As part of the Enterprise Data and Records Management Office (EDRMO), the successful candidate will proactively analyze, recommend and implement enhancements to the EDRMO’s governance framework and processes, clearly communicate rationale and negotiate solutions that will enhance operational effectiveness, support risk and control activities, and support enterprise-wide data and records management initiatives. Assigned projects are expected to be implemented effectively through collaboration with a diverse team to create and build flexible, innovative solutions that deliver business value.


Responsibilities:

  • You will support operationalizing records-related policies and standards by engaging business partners across client.  You will achieve this through the following.
  • Advocacy: You will promote awareness and adoption of records-related concepts, requirements, and leading practices for managing data/records at each stage of the information lifecycle.  This entails engaging with business partners and control groups to review the application of records-related concepts.
  • Innovative Thinking: You will support innovation for records and data solutions across the enterprise that enable compliance while delivering improved value to business partners. This entails working with business, technology, and data partners to support change based on business needs and risks.
  • Consultation and Advice: Working with business and technology teams across the client, you will support the design and implementation of practical solutions that address business requirements, emerging technologies, and the applicable regulatory environment. You will prepare and update reports based on research and analysis of specialized information to keep team members and business/technology partners informed of records-related trends, risks, and concerns. You will gather, validate and document complex requirements for assigned projects.
  • Operational Excellence: Support operational process enhancements to records services to increase efficiency and effectiveness. You must liaise and work with impacted teams and individuals across the enterprise.
  • Collaboration: You will work with a network of business SMEs and record/data roles who will collaborate to manage data and records across our bank. You must liaise and work with record and data roles across the enterprise. As a governance group, EDRMO works closely with Regions and LOB partners to help guide them in interpreting and implementing records management practices and solutions.

The indicated pay range for this position is a good-faith estimate based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Additionally, it is emphasized that the pay band mentioned herein is the one established by the client company. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work. Most candidates will start at the bottom half of the pay range, with the upper end reserved for candidates with extensive experience and skills and who live in geographic markets commanding a higher starting pay. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
