Our client, a multinational retail industry seeking for senior analyst, and pricing analyst for the pricing operations.


Senior Analyst, Price Analytics is responsible for building and maintaining pricing solutions that make it easy for associates to plan, execute, and monitor the best pricing strategies for customers. This includes the integration of statistical models, algorithms, and business rules to shape raw data into pricing actions. The ideal candidate will have advanced analytical skills, a proven ability to interpret complex datasets, and the expertise to translate insights into high-impact strategic recommendations. This role demands a strong strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to drive revenue optimization initiatives that align with the organization’s broader objectives.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead Pricing Analytics Projects: Design and implement advanced pricing solutions, leveraging statistical models, machine learning techniques, and data visualization tools to support revenue optimization and competitive positioning.
  • Develop and Enhance Pricing Models: Refine and implement complex pricing frameworks, including elasticity models, competitive price monitoring, and demand forecasting, to drive profit and sales growth.
  • Influence Business Strategy: Provide strategic recommendations based on thorough analysis of pricing trends, competitor benchmarking, and market conditions. Present insights to senior leadership with clear business implications.
  • Advanced Data Analysis & Automation: Utilize SQL and visualization tools such as Tableau to extract insights, automate pricing analysis, and enhance data processing efficiencies.
  • Enhance Pricing Technology Solutions: Collaborate with technology and data engineering teams to develop and improve pricing tools, ensuring scalability, automation, and reliability of pricing analytics infrastructure.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements, introduce new methodologies, and stay ahead of industry best practices in pricing analytics.
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Support and mentor Analysts within the Pricing Analytics team, fostering a collaborative and data-driven culture.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Business Management, Finance, Statistics, Engineering, Marketing, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proven experience (4+ years) in pricing, data analytics, market research, revenue management, or related roles within retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods industries.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with expertise in statistical modeling, regression analysis, price elasticity, and forecasting techniques.
  • Technical proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and advanced Excel skills
  • Proficiency in Google BigQuery, including writing complex SQL queries, optimizing query performance, and working with large-scale datasets
  • Strong data visualization skills, with hands-on experience using Tableau, PowerBI or similar tools to create compelling dashboards and reports.
  • Business acumen and strategic thinking, with a strong ability to connect data insights to business outcomes and influence decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams (merchandising, technology, data science).
  • Proactive mindset, with a passion for continuous learning, problem-solving, and driving pricing innovation.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with the capacity to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Experience in competitive intelligence tools (NIQ, Circana, Numerator) and market research methodologies is an asset.
