Position Type: Contract (2 months, potential to get extended for 18 months)

Compensation Range: $52.00 - $64.00 per hour
Our leading technology client is looking for a Product Designer. A portfolio/Reel review is required.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate clear perspectives on customer experiences and their underlying rationale using diverse visual storytelling techniques.
- Conduct audits of existing components and create specifications to align components with the design system.
- Develop web components in line with our design system guidelines, collaborating with design system designers for feedback.
- Actively represent the design system and collaborate with engineering and product teams to champion customer excellence.
- Create or implement prototypes, and assist with presentations. Collaborate with other design teams on shared initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Background in front-end development (C++ or web development) or computer science.
- Proficiency in advanced prototyping tools (beyond Figma prototyping), adept at translating design specifications into tangible prototypes or functional code.
- 3-5 years of product design experience for the web, with demonstrated work-related experience.
- Strong visual design skills for UI, particularly for websites and mobile apps.
- Ability to articulate and present a deep understanding of standard design principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including experience collaborating closely with engineering partners.
- Ability to thrive under tight deadline constraints.
- Capacity to understand technology issues and effectively communicate information.
- Proficiency in current and emerging web technologies and standard design software packages (e.g., Figma).
- Portfolio available for review with the design lead.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field. A combination of education and experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
