Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager III.
The position is responsible for leading strategic Marketing Initiatives & Operational Projects: Take ownership of complex, high-impact marketing projects and operational initiatives specifically within the portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Leading key marketing campaigns and programs from strategic planning through to execution and post-launch analysis. This involves defining scope, timelines, resource allocation, and ensuring successful delivery of marketing outputs.
- Project manage Implementation and optimization of marketing technology solutions (e.g., marketing automation platforms, digital asset management systems, CRM integrations).
- Streamlining marketing workflows, processes, and governance across various channels (digital, social, traditional, in-product marketing).
- Driving cross-functional initiatives that improve collaboration between marketing, product, engineering, design, and analytics teams for the offering.
- Managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation for both marketing campaigns and operational improvements.
- Deep Dive into Annual Marketing Processes: Apply a profound understanding of the entire marketing lifecycle for a consumer product like from strategy and planning to execution, measurement, and optimization – to identify operational inefficiencies and propose data-backed solutions.
- Cross-Functional Partnership & Influence: Collaborate extensively with marketing leadership, brand managers, campaign managers, product marketing, creative services, data scientists, martech and external agencies to define project scope, gather requirements, align on solutions, and drive successful project adoption.
- Process Excellence & Scalability: Design, document, and implement new, standardized, and scalable operational processes for the marketing team, ensuring consistency and efficiency as the business grows.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Establish clear KPIs for operational projects, track progress against objectives, and provide transparent, data-driven reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders within Canada.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. PMP or Agile certification (e.g., CSM, SAFe) is a strong asset.
- Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in project management or operations management.
- A minimum of 5 years of direct, hands-on experience working specifically within a marketing organization (agency or in-house) or leading significant marketing campaigns and operational transformation projects for marketing teams. Experience with a consumer product like is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated strong marketing background and understanding of the marketing funnel, campaign management, digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social, email), content marketing, martech and performance analytics.
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale, complex marketing campaigns and operational projects from inception to completion, ideally within a large, matrixed organization
- Proficiency with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Workfront, Smartsheet).
- Solid understanding of marketing technology stacks (e.g., CRM systems like Braze, marketing automation platforms like Adobe Experience Manager, Google Search Console and CM360 , DAMs, web analytics tools like Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics).
- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex operational challenges and marketing goals into actionable solutions.
- Superior communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and iterative environment, embracing ambiguity and adapting quickly to change.
- Experience working within or a strong understanding of the Canadian market landscape for consumer software/financial products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with financial services or tax preparation products/industries.
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation in a marketing context.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. PMP or Agile certification (e.g., CSM, SAFe) is a strong asset.
