Our multinational technology client is seeking a Front End Developer to lead the architecture and evolution of a micro‑frontend platform supporting Bell.ca. This role is ideal for a senior engineer who thrives in large‑scale environments, enjoys shaping frontend platforms, and can influence both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and evolution of the micro‑frontend platform, enabling domain‑based feature teams to deliver independently
  • Define standards for shell app coordination, shared libraries, routing, and runtime integrations
  • Design and implement mechanisms for shared state management, version control, and safe rollout of micro‑frontends
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to senior frontend engineers
  • Collaborate with Platform teams to ensure seamless CI/CD pipelines and observability
  • Work with Product, Design, and Content stakeholders to ensure a consistent user experience
  • Represent frontend technical leadership across cross‑functional initiatives

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience building modern frontend applications at scale
  • Deep expertise with React and modern frameworks (Next.js, Remix) and micro‑frontend tooling
  • Strong understanding of performance, security, accessibility, and responsive design
  • Experience working in distributed monorepo or federated repo environments
  • Ability to navigate trade‑offs between centralized control and team autonomy
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with tools such as Turborepo (nice to have)
  • Experience integrating backend‑for‑frontend (BFF) layers, GraphQL APIs, or edge functions
  • Previous contributions to platform‑level SDKs or component frameworks
