Our leading financial client is seeking a Financial Analyst for the team. The main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A typical financial analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.  


Responsibilities:

  • The Consultant Business Effectiveness will be joining the Distribution and Cards Technology (D&CT), Digital Technology (DT), and Client Servicing Technology (CST) Business Management Office (BMO). 
  • This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including financial management activities, including forecasting, preparation, and tracking of budgets, management reporting, project reporting, business case reviews, month-end, and other ad-hoc assignments. 
  • To excel in this role, you must demonstrate strong organizational skills, adaptability to changing priorities, effective problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in financial analysis and modeling. 
  • Your contributions will be vital in establishing and enhancing procedures and reports that support the D&CT, DT, and CST BMO.

Must Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience in a related role, ideally with exposure to:
    • SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
    • STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle)
    • QA lifecycle management
  • Strong financial management.
    • Budgeting (base and project)
    • Forecasting, variance analysis, and month-end close
    • Business case review and fiscal planning
  • Tableau dashboard creation and maintenance
  • Jira & Confluence
  • Experience preparing executive-level presentations and communication materials

Nice to have:

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Business, Technology, or a related field
  • Experience with Alteryx and Power BI
  • Familiarity with contract management and vendor engagement processes
  • PMO or IT tool certifications
  • Prior experience in a financial institution
