Compensation Range: 54$/hr to 74$/hr

 


Our leading financial client seeks an intermediate Business Consultant for a team.


The main function of a Business Consultant is to develop partnerships with clients to analyze current practices or positions to recommend solutions for improvement. This person is responsible for providing objective advice, expertise and specialist skills in the person’s appropriate field of knowledge to help solve various issues.


 Responsibilities:


• Identify and meet with potential clients to determine requirements, determine project scope, and provide estimates.

• Carry out research and data collection related to the client and industry.

• Analyze existing practices, positions, and data to understand the client, industry, and nature of business.

• Works closely with the project management team to determine required resources and create timelines.

• Identify strategies and present recommendations for improvement.

• Develop implementation strategies and assist in the implementation of solutions.

• Perform and organize ongoing support for customers such as report building, data quality, new integrations, etc.

• Some travel may be required.

• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Strong presentation skills.

• Knowledge of computer operations and programs.

• Ability to prioritize and multitask.

• Effective problem solving skills.

• Capable of building strong client relationships.


Education/Experience:


• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Advanced degree (MBA) preferred.

• PMP Certification preferred.

• 0-2 years of related experience.

The indicated pay range for this position is a good-faith estimate based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Additionally, it is emphasized that the pay band mentioned herein is the one established by the client company. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work. Most candidates will start at the bottom half of the pay range, with the upper end reserved for candidates with extensive experience and skills and who live in geographic markets commanding a higher starting pay.
