Our leading financial client is seeking a Business Consultant (Workday Solutions) for the team.

As a Senior Consultant, Workday Solutions, you will provide technical and functional support for the design, delivery, configuration, testing and support of our Workday Data Quality and Governance reporting. Working at times collaboratively with partners across HR, related business groups, Technology and external vendors, you will deliver key reporting for the Workday Solutions team.  You will help ensure the on-going solutioning and delivery of Data Quality Reporting from the Workday application.



Responsibilities:
  • Design, Configure, and Optimize – Collaborate with various HR and business functions, subject matter experts, vendors and stakeholders to optimize Workday Data Quality Reporting, including the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of reports in Workday. Identify opportunities to unlock the value of Data Quality Reporting through Workday's built-in functionality. 
  • Consultation and Advice– Leverage your deep understanding of Workday functionality and system experience design to build reporting aligned to various Data Quality Dimensions. (Accuracy, Completeness, Validity, Consistency, Currency, Integrity, Timeliness, and Uniqueness).  Understand the current state and future objective of Data Governance and support leaders and partners to assess potential options and change impacts.  
  • Change Management – As a champion for change, consult with the Workday Solutions team to support change management and process improvement initiatives that will equip HR and the Data Governance functions with the knowledge necessary to support Workday Data Governance. 
  • Relationship Building and Management- Build and leverage strong relationships with internal and external partners to provide consultative advice and work collaboratively to find solutions, turning good ideas into great outcomes. Become a trusted advisor. Lead or participate in collaborative project teams on key initiatives. Proactively engage and communicate with key stakeholders, networks, and partners to get diverse perspectives, share information, and build alignment on strategies and plans.

Must Have: 

  • 4+ years of Workday Reporting experience and knowledge of the HR function
  • Completed Workday 6-day Intro course for reporting  (unless Workday experience is extensive)
  • Extensive Workday Reporting knowledge (Development of Matrix Reporting, Creation of custom calculated fields, Creation of Worksheets, Creation of Workday Dashboard and Discovery Boards)
  • Excel knowledge of V and X lookups, If Statements, Pivot Tables, Graphing/Charts, Trendlines

Nice to have:

  • Workday Reporting certification 
  • HCM Workday Knowledge

Most candidates will start at the bottom half of the pay range, with the upper end reserved for candidates with extensive experience and skills and who live in geographic markets commanding a higher starting pay.
