Work Location: Hybrid, 4th Thursday of every month, potentially 1 other day a month for meetings

Position Type: Contract, 10 Months ( high potential for extension)

Compensation Range: $48/hr. - $66/hr. (negotiable) 


Our leading financial client seeks an intermediate Business Consultant for a team.


Responsibilities

  • The Consultant, Operations Management is responsible for supporting CID team members, processes and objectives. 
  • The role demonstrates initiative to ensure the resolution of operational problems or issues by troubleshooting, investigating, analyzing and providing informed recommendations. 
  • The Consultant uses independent judgement to determine methods and approaches to CID processes with a focus to reduces risk and UPT.  
  • The Consultant supports CID requests for Audit and Governance reviews and provides input on developing and implementing policy and program initiatives. 
  • The role includes independent work, completing end-to-end process reviews, and some people leader support to assist CID team members.

 Must haves

  • 2-4 yrs of previous experience as a Business Consultant 
  • Audit and Governance review experience
  • Previous involvement with process improvement - (knows how to identify ways to make processes more efficient/simplified). 
  • Previous financial industry experience

 Nice to have

  • VBA Macros experience 
  • Vendor management/stakeholder experience 
  • Capital Markets/trading knowledge
