Work Location: Hybrid, 3 days from office

Position Type: Contract, 10 months (high potential for extension)

Location: Mississauga, ON

Compensation Range: $58 - $66 per hour

 

This role is for the Product Operations team, supporting the Canada Product Portfolio. This role will primarily focus on the insights and communications pillar within the product operations team. Primary functions include but not limited to onboarding and training (change management) for new processes, tools, structures, stakeholder communication and flow (maintaining self-serve reporting, communication strategies), feedback and continuous improvements frameworks and insights to ensure the product operations teams is listening to the product teams and driving improvements and efficiencies in day-to-day operations.



Responsibilities:

  • Manage data files, conduct reconciliations, and perform business analysis using data: Understand business requirements and provide analysis.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and relevant information to enable decision making and support desired business outcomes using MS Excel and applications/tools available.
  • Analyze data using a problem-solving mindset: Maintain knowledge of all main data sources, classifications, etc. for the data used in the analysis. Explore and utilize these data sources for reporting and analysis purposes.
  • Critically review data requests and data quality to determine how best to provide the analysis that will support business and stakeholder objectives
  • Stakeholder consultation and user experience: Provide stakeholders with analysis to address their needs; determine the best way to deliver the analysis requested by exploring multiple alternatives and creating prototypes for evaluation where requested.
  • Provide clarification on data sources and support the resolution of stakeholder questions and concerns.
  • Focus on continuous improvement: Proactively identify ways to improve processes by observing and collecting feedback from requestors.
  • Conduct and/or participate in the analysis of business processes and functional requirements with stakeholders for required system enhancements and prepare appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information.
  • Leverage a spectrum of data streams to understand and propose enhancements and derive actionable insights.


Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Business Analyst experience
  • Previous experience using JQL with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience in data analytics, tracking, building data** in the following reporting tools: SQL, Tableau Microsoft is required
  • Access Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple project deadlines.
  • Ability to map out complex operational processes
  • Retail background is an asset but not Mandatory
  • Ability to analyze data and provide business with recommendations based on trends and opportunities highlighted.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, must be extremely detail oriented.
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines
  • Agile methodology is an asset
  • PMP and / or CBAP is an asset

Most candidates will start at the bottom half of the pay range, with the upper end reserved for candidates with extensive experience and skills and who live in geographic markets commanding a higher starting pay.
